PQR Qualification

  • Material: API 5L X56N SMLS
  • Pipe size: NPS 20” WT 26.19 mm
  • Joint design: Groove, included angle 60 deg.
  • Position: 1G.
  • Welding process: weld metal deposit of GTAW (7.0 mm) and SAW (19.19 mm).

A WPS shall be shown all variable in table QW-256 (for GTAW) and table QW-254 (for SAW).
We should bring all variables in these tables and range of qualified application to new WPS.

Can you explain where to taken the Flux designation as F7XX ?

QW-404.29 Flux designation (Non-Essential Variables) - when change flux designation or flux trade name. You should update the Flux Trade Name from PQR.
